Over the previous two weeks, Theta Chi- Iota Mu participated in Mizzou's annual "Greek Week". We had the opportunity to be paired with the women of Alpha Chi Omega as well as the men of Beta Sigma Psi and Sigma Tau Gamma. Overall, Greek Week 2016 was a great experience, and our grouping managed to come together to finish with an impressive third place finish!
Collectively, our grouping was successful in most aspects of Greek Week. For fling, a dance and skit competition, we managed to finish in 4th place. In service, the largest portion of Greek Week, our grouping finished in 4th place as well. The men of Theta Chi showed great commitment to service over the last two weeks by participating in several awesome events such as Caring For Columbia, Special Olympics, Greek Week Food Drive, and volunteering at the Ronald McDonald house.
Perhaps the highlight of the week was our performance in the Greek Week games. As a grouping we managed to put together an impressive performance in several of the sporting events. Consistent success in all of the events helped us finish in second place overall for games.
Greek Week 2016 was another example of the strides the Iota Mu chapter is making towards success in the Greek community. We look forward to taking this momentum from Greek Week and working towards another impressive showing in Homecoming this coming Fall!
